Comment & Review Policy

Readers can comment on our articles and leave reviews of lawyers listed in our directory. Both spaces are valuable because they are honest, which is why we hold them to clear rules and moderate them actively.
What Is Not Allowed
- Harassment, threats, or targeted abuse directed at another reader, a lawyer, or our staff;
- Defamatory claims presented as fact — including accusations of misconduct against a named lawyer or firm that are not substantiated;
- Impersonation of another person, a lawyer, a firm, or a Law Elite Network staff member;
- Using the comment or review section to solicit legal representation outside our intended appointments flow, or to advertise unrelated services;
- Spam, coordinated posting, or content unrelated to the article or lawyer being reviewed.
Moderation Process
Comments and reviews are subject to moderation both before and after publication. Content that violates this policy may be removed, edited to redact the violating portion, or, for repeat violations, result in the commenter losing the ability to post. Moderation decisions focus on whether a rule was broken, not on whether the underlying opinion of a lawyer or legal topic was positive or negative — genuine, good-faith criticism is allowed even when it is unflattering.
Fake or Coerced Reviews
Reviews that we determine to be fabricated, posted by someone with no genuine experience with the lawyer in question, or solicited through incentives or pressure from the reviewed lawyer or firm, are removed when identified. A pattern of suspicious reviews on a listing may also trigger a review of that listing's status under our Editorial Standards.
Reporting a Problem
If you see a comment or review that appears to violate this policy — including one that looks fake, coerced, or defamatory — report it through our Contact Us page with a link to the content in question. We review reports and act on confirmed violations.
